METHOD FOR MAKING KICHIDI.....

Ingredients:
OIL
MOONG DHAL - 2tbsp
ONION- 1
LAVANCAM PATAI POWDER-a pinch
GINGER GARLIC PASTE- 2 tspn
SALT
TURMERIC-little for colour
CORIANDER AND MINT LEAFS
GREEN CHIILIES-2 to 3
RICE- 1 cup


METHOD:
put oil after it gets heated, put moong dhal and fry 
till the colour changes then add onion,lavangam pattai 
powder,gingergarlic paste fry well till it gets brown.

 then add water 1 cup of rice=2.5 cup of water then add 
salt,turmeric,coriander,mint,and green chillies. leave 
to boil. taste it.finally put rice and mix ocassionaly and 
till the water gets absorbed. then keep the flame in sim 
and close cap tightly leave for 5 min and stir rice after 
that and again leave for 2 min.kichidi is ready to serve
